PSPS students went on a field study to Pohang on November 17, 2023.

They visited the Pohang Erosion Control Memorial Park. 

It opened on November 7, 2007, to celebrate Korea's 100th anniversary of the erosion control project. 

The erosion control project means constructing works to prevent natural disasters by planting trees in the mountains or raising river banks. 

Korea’s forest development projects show one of the most successful aspects of the Saemaul Undong, carried out by the government and local residents.

The video and the construction site model showed students how to implement the erosion control project.
