The Saemaul Spirit Korean Speech Contest and Global Saemauler Festival for PSPS students were held on October 6, 2023.

The annual event enhances students’ understanding of Korean culture and language and fosters global citizenship through global cultural exchanges.

Eleven students participated in the contest, while the rest attended as the audience.

Some students at the Department of Saemaul International Development joined PSPS students in playing traditional Korean games.

A total of six students were awarded prizes at the contest as follows:

1st Prize: Herrera Quintero Maria Del Rosario (Panama)

2nd Prize: Abebe Bethel Messele (Ethiophia) and Mzale Razaq Muhammed (Tanzania)

3rd Prize: Hor Puthitepy (Cambodia), Murib Gabriela Palikahe (Indonesia), and Rkar Moe Mynt (Myanmar)
