On 2 May, PSPS welcomed the 72nd, 73rd countries, Republic of Liberia and the Republic of Panama.

The 72nd (Liberia) and 73rd (Panama) international students entered the PSPS of Yeungnam University. This is to learn the "Saemaeulhak" academicized by Yeungnam University.

This is the first achievement in just over a decade since the establishment of the PSPS at Yeungnam University in November 2011. Among Korean universities, Yeungnam University's PSPS is the only place where international students from 73 countries have enrolled a specific graduate school. It is so rare that it is difficult to find similar cases worldwide. Even in 2018, two international students from Cuba, a non-Korean country, entered the school, making headlines. It shows how much global demand for "Saemaeulhak" is. 

 The international students who entered the PSPS at Yeungnam University are Kamara Makemes from Liberia in Africa and Herrera Quintero Maria Del Rosario from Panama in South America.
