The Saemaul Spirit Korean Speech Contest and Global Saemauler Festival for PSPS students were held on October 28, 2022.

The annual event enhances students’ understanding of Korean culture and language and fosters global citizenship through global cultural exchanges.

Eleven students participated in the contest, while the rest attended as the audience.

Some students at the Department of Saemaul International Development joined PSPS students in playing traditional Korean games.

A total of six students were awarded prizes at the contest as follows:

1st Prize: Supriyadi Slamet (Indonesia)
 2nd Prize: Jalloh Khadijatu Mohamed (Sierra Leone) and Thiri Thu (Myanmar)
 3rd Prize: Sari Intan Permata (Indonesia), Prabaningrum Alfrinia (Indonesia), and Mukamurenzi Marie Therese (Rwanda)
